I bought this iPhone 4 on eBay ad read works perfectly so I gave it to my son. He turned it on straight talk and after 3 days came to me saying the cameras front and back don't work at all. The camera function comes on but the screen is black for both cameras,does anyone know where to start my fix. Thought it might be both cameras bad but not sure,someone help me please.

The app will freeze out both cameras if it senses a hardware defect with one. Go to settings--general--reset all settings to reset the app. Open the phone and reseat the rear camera and front camera, then try again. If you can get one to work, avoid switching the camera around or the app will freeze again.

I have An iPhone 4 & in This iPhone back Camera & Flashlight dont Work but front camera is also work.
Flashlight Option is Gray out & main camera Show a black screen in the iPhone.
What is Problems of this iPhone ??

Typically all you need to do is shutdown all the way, wait ten seconds, then turn back on. If not, then there is a hardware/software problem that only an Apple technician can fix.

i’m getting a new rear camera in the mail in a few weeks and i’ll let you know if it helps, because i have the same problem, the only thing is that my front camera works fine. i’ll let you know.
