Cannot hear phone calls!

Hello, I recently purchased a iphone 5 with a cracked screen on eBay. After receiving the item I realized that not only the screen was broke but also the cellular antenna. The screw that was connecting it had ripped it so I bought a new one and replaced it. I thought the phone was surely fixed until I tried to make a phone call. The phone call goes through but I cannot here the receiver and they cannot here me. I know for a fact it is not the headset speaker or mic because I recorded myself and listened to it through my headset. I even have used another calling app to see if my calls would go through there and they did! I dont know whats wrong and its extremely frustrating. Im going to try and update it to the latest firmware but thats my last resort. Any input would be helpful.Also front camera does not work if yall could help me on that but I am not too concerned with that

I take it your on about the earpeice speaker beside the front camera?

If the front camera isn't going and the flex is damaged then the speaker won't go either make sure the connection has not came out.. If the connection is broken then u need a new1

Well you see the thing is is that I can hear out of the speaker because I have tested it. Even if this was the case it would not explain why the person I called could not hear me. I know my microphone works because I recorded and listened to myself. The phone works if I were to use a app like Google voice that required a data or wifi connection but doesn't work when I try to use my actual phone app.

Cause when u put it on loud speaker it uses the upper mic..

Just replace the dock this is your problem this is why people can't hear you on normal mode

That makes total sense. I just got my screen fixed. But can't listen to my VM or make outgoing calls (I can call but the receiver cannot hear me nor I them). I recorded and listened to myself in voice notes, I can s/r texts and I can hear streaming music but my front camera is not working. Hopefully this is an easy fix and after I can make calls. Thanks for the insight!

There are 3 microphones in an iPhone 5

One that's on the dock for making calls another one that's beside the flash that's for the rear camera and one that's just behind the ear peice mesh that is for Siri ..

The microphone on the dock so you need to replace the dock

Well if this were the case then why is it when I put it on speaker phone on my voice recording it plays through the ear piece speaker? Is there another speaker used for calling?
